Joyce Garbaciak is back on the air full-time

It was recently announced that Joyce Garbaciak was promoted at WISN 12 News. She'll be co-hosting the WISN 12 News @ 5:00pm weekdays. Congrats to a very deserving and a good person!

You'll recall Garbaciak had a storied history in Milwaukee television news, including a long stint at TV6 turned Fox Is Six/Six Is News.

She retired and then came back at WISN 12 to do assignment reporting. That led to fill-in anchoring, which led to a permanent weekend anchor slot. Now she's back in the big chair.

WISN 12 has a history of hiring former staff from other Milwaukee stations, including Mike Gousha and others.
