Paul I'm with you 90% of the time but not snarking at local listeners who were crammed into bathtubs not knowing if it was going to be some thunder and lightening or what rolled through Rockford. We need more pressure on local stations to be there for severe weather events when it's safe to be there. And when you have no power your modem doesn't work and during storms there's Lots of interruption in the cell coverage. A battery powered radio with you in the basement is simple and effective.
