WLKG (Since 1994) and WLKN since 2003 have been using "The Lake" how long do service marks last? When did MWF register theirs? If they have the same 10 year window and registered in 2003 or 2004 (93.1 The Lake launched in July 2003) that would have expired by now right?
Regardless 92.1 The Lake is done. The format and calls will stay, but it will be "The Shore"
By the way, Country Boy I unbanned your IP, so let's end this with a friendly disagreement. I have nothing more to say about this. I just want quality radio. Everybody seems to overlook it these days. Magnum's "Lake" isn't bad at all. Music variety is good. KTI Country isn't bad, but it needs more work, less worrying about old trademarks. MWF has a bunch of great stations in Madison while I'm at it. WMGN, WJJO, WWQM and WJQM are top notch. Too bad they didn't find a place for Hit Radio 1550's Oldies format.
