In the case of this format, you can call it anything. There's so many names for Adult Hits.

Jack FM (TM), Bob FM (TM), Mike, Jake, Doug, Abe, etc. Dave could do a Duke Wright and call it "Dave FM" if he wanted to.

That said, people listen to this format (Adult Hits) specifically for the music.

It doesn't matter what you call it. Other formats do not have it that way, because brand recognition is more important in their cases (KISS, MIX, KTI, FM106, V100, WIIL Rock, etc)
