The biggest problem, most of Milwaukee's TV stations are UHF, the spectrum that is being auctioned. One of the options is to move to VHF.
That will ruin their signal, especially for people who have DTV antennas installed on their roofs, which are almost always UHF.
Chicago has a number of VHF-only stations, WBBM is one of them. Their signal is so bad they have a UHF translator. So did WLS for awhile.
WMVS has one as well locally. Since they're Channel 8.
