I'm not sure exactly how long, but WOLX has been transmitting in HD for a while. WORT has been as well, perhaps even longer than WOLX has been. Neither station, though, has an HD subchannel at the moment. I've never heard of any HD2 plans for WOLX; WORT did announce its own plans for one way back in 2007 (see below article), though I don't believe they ever came to fruition.
