Perhaps it's the long list of advertisers (many long term) he has?? If you actually listen maybe you'd realize that. I don't see the mic pulling down huge numbers but they seem to have a loyal group of advertisers who are bent on keeping the format what it is.

: Why is Sly still on-the-air? He doesn't produce ratings, does he? WTDY is a traditional 1.5 station.

: Seems strange to have such a lightning rod that costs you money in your cluster if you're not cashing in on it.
