MADISON (WKOW) -- A new audit says Wisconsin emergency officials still need a coordinated state wide radio system.
That radio system would allow all agencies across the state to communicate on one line in case of a major disasters like a tornado.
Its been in the works since 2007. The Office of Justice Assistance, which administers federal disaster grants, says it will update lawmakers on that radio system at the end of August.
They expect it to go live by December.
