Milwaukee is now a PPM market. WOLX appears in the Milwaukee ratings. Several other Madison stations began encoding PPM for the same reason.
: I'm kinda surprised that one or two people DXing WOLX would show up in the Chicago PPM ratings. What are the odds of enough Chicago-area PPM panelists spinning the dial when DX conditions were good and listening to WOLX enough for it to show up in the ratings? What does that say about the size of Arbitron's Chicago PPM panel?
: Even if it's more my theory -- that vacationers brought the PPM with them along to the Dells, I'm still somewhat surprised that it cracked the topline.
: Also, why is Entercom encoding PPM on WOLX? Does Arbitron have a schedule for rolling out PPM to markets outside of the top 50?
