I know! Like no one carried the speech live, not even T.V.
I suppose this is the typical media response though where something is followed for X days until XYZ news director decides it isn't news anymore. Coverage has really fizzled out.
Then again I'm not sure what else there _is_ to be reported. It's a bunch of people rallying - still - some of them gettin free pizza, and some of them are teaching Scott Walker's kids.
: I would've settled for just local on-air presence Saturday. I figured since the Tea Party folks were coming to town, that 1310 would be all over it, but nope, guess they couldn't afford to pay someone to work a Saturday.
: I was trying to find info on the rallies and 970, 1310, 1670 and 92.1 all dropped the ball. 970 was running their regularly scheduled NPR stuff, 1310 had some infomercial type shows followed by Wisconsin women's basketball, 1670 and 92.1 ... don't remember exactly what it was but I think they were both airing syndicated stuff, too. The only station kinda covering the protests was WTMJ-620AM out of Milwaukee. Sad.
