Every time I corresponded with Tom Land, he was a courteous and wonderfully friendly person. Radio needs more people in management like him. He will be missed.

: TOM LAND, VP/Radio Programming for JOURNAL BROADCASTING GROUP, lost his battle with cancer THURSDAY. LAND was 51 and had battled stage-4 lung cancer that had metastasized to his bones since AUGUST.
