Veteran Madison, WI radio people will recognize this name: I ran into TOM HOLTER this morning. He owned "Love Stereo, 94.9 FM," back in the early 70s along with WIBU-AM Poynette, WI (WIBU originally stood for "Wind Is Being Used," because early on that station was powered by a wind-mill). He cut so many radio commercials in his time here (and later in Florida), with that BIG booming radio-announcer voice! (In fact, recognized him by his voice, first, today!)
He and his wife Dorothy operated Capitol Hill Supper Club, at the site that later became the Dry Bean.
His daughter, Kjersta, worked with us at Mid-West Family, before later working in Madison TV sales.
