true. but he's connecting with listeners so it also represents the station and its management. he should have a like page and keep his actual profile for friends and family not the public. by having it public he opens himself up to scrutiny like that of this board.
: It's his Facebook page!! He's free to write whatever he wants!
: : : : Thanks for the shameless self-plug, Bryan. I've signed multi-year deals in the past without press-releasing it, but to each his own. Now you can go back to bragging about your weight loss program and talking Conservative politics with your listeners.
: : :
: : : yawn,
: : : It grinds my gears too when he gets all Conservative on his Facebook. Maybe it's the format he's on but as a Top 40 guy I'd never talk politics at all with listeners. It's just a recipe for disaster IMO unless you're on a politically driven radio station and have a heavy base.
: : It's irresponsible of him. And it's not the format; country radio isn't full of a bunch of bubba hicks in overalls anymore who have Dubya tattooed on their arms. The format is younger nowadays, but regardless. Unless you're a news or talk station, it's inappropriate. Can't believe his PD allows him to do that.
