Mark has previously stated his childhood fascination with Rush's style of radio and his idolizing of Rush. He has scripted his show based on Rush's style and that's the reason he has the pleasure of filling in for Rush on a regular basis. Mark gets ears to the radio and that's what matters to Jerry Bott. If more jocks or personalities had the cojones to step on the syndicated show once in awhile or talk in the middle of stopsets we might have more of the exciting radio of yesteryear reappear.
