Given how many other CC stations are adding Elvis right now, methinks they were pushed out to standardize the format. That's CC's motto, with "premium choice" content blah blah blah.
I doubt local management had a say. Probably forced from above. Figure Z can survive with syndicated morning, and they'll probably do OK.
Jamz will probably gain some additional momentum from this - especially in the morning. Adding Connie and Curtis could also be a smart move if this rumored 105.1 flip to Hot AC actually happens.
