Most people in a town like Milwaukee, and any other city in Wisconsin for that matter, could care less about the people Seacrest brings on his show. They are more opinionated about things that are happening in THEIR backyard.
And being "local" means a lot more than just air-talent being local. It's the music too. Kiss FM does NOT play the charts. Their music selection is locally researched unlike Radio Now, whose music is not.
Think you can put a station on the air that's playing the charts with no regard for the community's taste buds and get huge ratings and advertising? Think again.
So let's see, station that plays music that the Milwaukee audience likes along with talent that connects with the community or cookie cutter cut & paste radio... choice A is better for both the listeners AND the advertisers.
