Paul - I hate to say it, but Sly's numbers were not very good. If they were he would still be on the air. He was lucky to pull in the low single digits (2-3) when the top rated shows were in the low double digits (11,12,13). He was far from a ratings success.
I don't see anyone putting Sly on the air in Madison. He has burned so many bridges it would be a festivus miracle if someone overlooked those past transgressions. Outside of big labor and Russ Feingold, he has no influential friends. And, it would seem, no influential advertisers backing him. If he did - he wouldn't have been pulled off the air.
