Not necessarily. It took them a couple of weeks after the simulcast started to turn the pilot off. It may not be a simple thing for Engineering to turn it off/on. For instance, it may take a transmitter site visit, and the flip did happen the afternoon before a long holiday weekend.

I'm not downplaying the rumor of a format flip, but let's not put too much stock into a pilot being on or off.
