Say what you will about Sly, and some people posting regarding his recent firing have been rather catty, and unnecessarily nasty, the news is that he's back to broadcasting, which is his passion. I, for one, am glad that a broadcaster is working on the radio. With all the mergers, and cut-backs, and syndication, and cheapskatedness, it's great to see a radio guy ON the radio.

I would say the exact same thing if we were talking about some conservative-leaning talkshow host, as well. I wouldn't be listening to him or her, but I would be glad to know he/she is GAINFULLY EMPLOYED IN RADIO.
