Charlie got his start in radio filling in for Belling but you could argue that he might have landed at WTMJ even without the prior exposure from Belling's show.

Unlike Jeff, who is simply awful at what he does, Charlie at least displays the ability to line up the talking points and get his audience riled up.

Jeff just has a horrible personality for radio.
