I interviewed for a job at a station there and was told they don't care about the ratings. They care about results for the advertisers. It was a weird concept for me to digest having been only in rated markets. I passed on the job. I think it would have been a good experience for me but I wanted those trails of #s to prove results other PDs could understand.
