I remember when I first listened back in the late 90s, he was very open about being a full time bartender. I don't know if he does that now or what.
Over the years, his shift got longer. It started 9AM-10AM with Paul Kern (Paul retired from WRJN last year)
After while he started going til 10:30 (Irene was on at 10:30 originally)
Then Irene was pushed to 11:00 and his show was on from 9-11.
2007 or so the station stopped playing music except overnights and weekends and he was on from 8AM-Noon (I believe that is the current schedule)
The show itself used to have its own sponsors. There were no commercials. Lenny and Paul would simply thank and mention all of the sponsors of the show.
After Paul left for WRJN (Bill Lawrence in return left WRJN to replace him) the show was Lenny solo, with a few commercials now and then.
I think its been that way ever since. I haven't gone near the station since 2008 or so. I can't bring myself to listen to it.
