Well Chucky....It's time to stop reminiscing and start asking and pushing real radio. Local radio can no longer just rely on 20 in a row when there's satellite, iPods, iPhones, Internet in cars and more new ways to get mostly commercial free music every day. In a radio station license the station is charged with serving the city of license. Why would you not want to super serve that population with content that is important to that area with personality and entertainment along the way. I see many stations that are just lazy and their numbers show that. The Internet has fueled this. The websites should not be more important than on-air product. Real and different content is what radio needs now.
