Apparently someone missed the memo from 1980: Music formats, regardless of the genre, are doomed on AM radio. Can anyone point to one -- ONE -- in any U.S. market playing any type of music where it actually succeeds? Nope, didn't think so. HD Radio certainly helps AM's fidelity, but it's nowhere near enough to save it.
