Fair enough, but again, how many people that are not web developers honestly notice the difference between a $45 Wordpress template and a custom made one that costs way more?
I'm not trying to minimize what you do, and I certainly understand that good web presence costs money (including a well designed site). I get the difference between a shitty unprofessional site and one that is respectable. I think this at least gets it in the respectable side.
My point being that I give them credit for at least getting a decent site running that has a bunch of content on it within a few days of launch. Most stations just go with Facebook or have a "Coming Soon" splash page unless you're Clear Channel or Cumulus.
