Journal is distraught. They blew up KTI for the variety format only to find the variety format was a du jour format that went sour within a few years of The Lake's launch. Now they're angling back toward being closer to KTI and hiring jocks. I listened to The Lake about 2 times and it was enough for me. While Reitman & Mueller made me veer off the freeway many times because of their snoozefest of a morning show, KTI was overall like a snuggie. The Lake is just afloat.
