I'm pretty sure the Maverick Media stations MWF is buying will be perfect for their portfolio.
In Rockford, they have WXRX, which is an Active Rocker similar to WJJO.
They have an AC station, WGFB (B103) and 95.3 Bob FM in Rockford (Adult Hits) There's also a News/Talk translator/HD hybrid (100.5 NTA-FM) and the original WNTA-AM, which runs All Comedy Radio.
In Eau Claire, they have the heritage Country WAXX, 99.9 Bob FM (Adult Hits), A News/Talker (WAYY) an ESPN Radio affiliate and I94 (Which is an AC/Hot AC hybrid) and 92.9 The Big Cheese (Classic Rock)
Midwest Family has a single Bob FM station, however it runs an Adult Hits style Country format.
I think Midwest Family is perfect for these stations. They run similar formats on their other stations, and have a similar way of locally programming them. Shouldn't notice any changes.
However, since they dropped HD in Madison, they might cut WXRX's HD transmitter (which 100.5 NTA-FM is fed with) and flip 1330 back to talk using the translator for the AM.
From what I know, WXRX is the only HD signal Maverick Media has.
