i think dan odonnell saw the writing on the wall at wtmj (pd out, new consultant in) and bounced before they got the chance to axe him or change his role there. i don't know for sure if the plan is for dan to lead up a new news department at wisn. so far it sounds like he is just the new afternoon news guy and then he files stories for play throughout the day during other newscasts. i think wisn is going to remain in their lane because it's working for them.
