No they can't. The FCC won't allow a company to own two of the top four-rated stations in a market.

Besides, the fact that they own WTMJ-TV, two radio stations AND the local newspaper would throw up a lot of red flags.

BTW, the article referenced in the original post is two months old. Still reverent, but old.
