Shawn Patrick has been replaced on the WITI-TV (Channel 6) "Wakeup Newscast." His last day was Friday. "He is currently pursuing other opportunities," said WITI president and general manager Chuck Steinmetz. "We wish him nothing but the best."

Patrick joined the station in 2010 from a station in Denver. He is a Chicago-area native. He replaced Mark Concannon, a 23-year veteran.

The new morning anchor is Jessob Reisbeck, a native of Wisconsin Rapids, who previously worked in Fresno, Calif., as a sportscaster. He began his career in Wausau.
