Just got this email from "Consumer Watch" - Subject: TV subscribers are pawns in CBS power grab
------------------------------------------------
It’s bad enough that CBS blacked out its broadcasts for millions of Time Warner Cable customers on Aug. 2 because the cable company would not give in to CBS demands for hugely higher “retransmission fees." Now CBS is punishing everyone who has Time Warner as an Internet provider by denying them access to the same CBS online content it offers free to the public.
So, even if you are not a Time Warner Cable customer, you could be affected just because you are a Time Warner or Bright House broadband Internet subscriber. The Internet shouldn’t be a battleground—it should be free and open.
