9 years later, and WSSP still sucks

Is it too much to ask that after 9 years, the station doesn't sound like it's still in its launch month?

The local shows on 540 ESPN are infinitely better and more enjoyable.

Gary Ellerson is simply horrible and should be nowhere near a microphone. They obviously only hired him because he's a former Badger/Packer and thought that would give them some credibility (it doesn't).

Can we please put a bullet in this mess of a station and put some other format on the frequency, please (*cough* True Oldies. *cough).

This market simply can't support two (much less three!) full-time sports talkers.

You want me to say something positive about WSSP?

Okay, it's not as cheap and shoddily-run as WOKY's "Let's run some shows from Madison, add in some syndicated shows, and call it a day" station.

I'm sure the station is making money thanks to the lawyers and strip clubs who are buying ad time, but that doesn't mean it's anything I want to hear.
