When I was in high school, both Carl Zimmermann and Vince Gibbens spoke at graduation ceremonies. Vince did the class ahead of me and Carl did my graduating class. I grew up on TV6 and 87.7 FM on my Walkman in the morning as I walked to school. The media landscape is remarkably different than during that time, but so much of both their influence still remains in the halls on Green Bay Rd.
