Over-the-air radio vs. the stream

Have you listened to someone over the air on regular radio, then listened to them via the station's online stream? Have you noticed any differences?

Mark Belling's voice isn't as low and bassy as the compressed sound on AM radio.

Jay Weber sounds MORE booming on the stream and his compressor settings must be much different than Belling's.
