Of interest to media tyes: Governor Walker's budget, though he did not make mention of it on Tuesday night (2/3), includes cuts to the Wisconsin Educational Communications Board, which operates Wisconsin Public Radio and Wisconsin Public Television (total of $5 million in the 2-year biennium). The spin from the administration is that the cuts are on programming costs that can be made up, and that other provided functions such as Amber Alert and emergency services will still be funded.
