But it doesn't have to be a permanent black eye. The station can use the opportunity to leverage negative feedback and switch it up, ya know? For example "OMG WTF DID YOU GET RID OF CONNIE FOR FIRST IT WAS FISH NOW BOTH CONNIE AND CURTIS WHO WE WERE JUST GETTING USED TO I AM NEVER LISTENIN TO Z104 AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Station reply: "We are so sorry that you're missing Connie & Curtis. We also wish Fish well and you can find him on the dial in Madison. Connie will no doubt find another outlet for you to find her on. She is super talented and we were pleased to help her become the very first female morning radio personality in Madison to run her own board and lead a show. We understand Elvis Duran is something new and will take time for you to enjoy. What we can suggest is that you reach out to Elvis on his Facebook page or email [email protected] and tell him what you like and don't like about his show! He checks every message personally and will be sure to take your input. We hope to keep you as a valued listener to Z104. We wouldn't have been here for 30+ years if it wasn't for you. I hope this addresses your concerns."
*shrug* Just my .02.
