Energy 106.9 hires an afternoon guy

SAGA Top 40/Rhythmic WNRG (ENERGY 106.9)/MILWAUKEE brings aboard 'COUSIN ED' for afternoons. COUSIN ED, formerly known as 'SPECIAL ED', comes to WNRG from COX MEDIA Top 40/Mainstream WPOI/TAMPA where he was part of the morning show.

ED is a native of WISCONSIN, beginning his career in WAUSAU. In a press release COUSIN ED commented, "I'm excited to be back home in WISCONSIN where the flu bug might struggle to survive the bitter cold."

WNRG Brand Mgr. BRANDON ROWE added, "I'm excited to have COUSIN ED join ENERGY 106.9. He's a great talent that connects with the audience and lives and loves the format. COUSIN ED is the first live on air personality to join the station."
